Now that all festivals lined up. I’m posting here simple, easy and most favorite sweets of India. Kaju kathli can be Prepared in less than twenty minutes if all the necessary ingredients are available. Cashews are ground into a powder. Sugar is melted in required amount of water and cashews powder is added. The mixture is mixed thoroughly to get uniform texture which is pliable. Burfi mixture is transferred onto a plate and rolled into thin strip which is further cut into burfi size slices. Here I present festive recipe kaju kathli to treat our loved ones during any special occasion. Njoy Cooking, Serving n Savoring!

Ingredients:

Cashews: 1 cup

Sugar: Half cup

Water: one fourth cup or 5 tbsp

Rose essence or cardamom powder: few drops

Ghee: 2 tsp 

Silver leaf: For decoration (Optional)

Method of Preparation:

🌸 Take one cup of cashews and Grind cashews in a mixer grinder to a smooth powder. 

🌸Heat kadai pour water and add one cup of sugar. Allow the sugar to melt completely. 

🌸Now add ground cashews powder and mix thoroughly. Also add rose essence and two tsp of ghee. 

🌸Stir continuously till the mixture leaves the sides of the kadai . 

🌸Switch off the flame and transfer into a greased (ghee) plate. Mix thoroughly with spatula for two more minutes.

🌸Use butter paper and roll using rolling pin to get uniform thickness.

🌸 Spread silver leaf carefully onto the burfi and slice them into bite size pieces.

🌸 Transfer the slices into a serving bowl or an air tight container. Now the mouth melting kaju kathli is ready to serve.
