Gasagase payasa 
 It is Traditional recipe of Karnataka state and also it’s prepared in south Andhra., Particularly Nellore n chittoor districts of Andhra Pradesh. Two tbsp of gasagase /poppy seeds are dry roasted in a pan till raw smell goes away. It’s ground with one and half tbsp of copra powder. Ground the ingredients into a smooth paste adding required amount of water. Meanwhile jaggery syrup is Prepared using half cup of organic jaggery and 3/4 th cup of water. Ground paste is added and boiled furthermore for five minutes till payasam consistency is achieved. This is absolutely delicious and healthy too. Gasagase payasa is used to treat mouth ulcers and also for sound sleep. Here I present delicious gasagase payasa to celebrate any occasion. Njoy Cooking, Serving n Savoring!

I’ve  tried some  heart shaped Art ❤️On coconut. You know in Karnataka weddings and Tpty weddings there is a ritual where bride families gift bride groom with hand crafted designs of dry coconuts with different themes. My parents did the same for my wedding.

Ingredients:

Gasagase/poppyseeds: 2 tbsp

Dry copra powder: 1 1/2 tbsp

Organic jaggery: Half cup 

Water: 3/4 th cup

Cashews: Few

Milk: One fourth cup

Method of preparation:

🌹. Take two tbsp of poppyseeds and dry roast them in a kadai. Allow them to cool down completely.

🌹. Transfer them into a mixer grinder and add dry copra powder. Grind them into a paste adding required amount of water. 

🌹. Prepare jaggery syrup adding three fourth cup of water. 

🌹. Now add the ground poppy seeds paste to the jaggery syrup and boil furthermore for two minutes. Switch off the flame and add milk to get desired consistency.

🌹.  Transfer the payasa into a serving bowl and serve with roAsted raisins and cashews. Delicious!
