Dabbakaya vuragaya
Dabbakaya vuragaya is very popular pickle in Andhra Pradesh. Dabbakaya has enormous health benefits. It has vitamin C which helps to boost our immune system. Pickle is prepared with dabbakaya/citron pickle adding salt and turmeric. This pickle is used as an accompaniment to curd rice. This pickle stays good for 2/3 months if refrigerated. I’ve not added red chilli powder. Whenever required take lil amount of pickle, add red chilli powder and do the necessary tempering. Here I present healthy and tasty Dabbakaya Vuragaya to serve anytime. Njoy Cooking, Serving n Savoring!

Ingredients:
Dabbakaya: 1 no.
Salt: As required
Turmeric: 1 tsp
Method of preparation:
💐. Take one citron/dabbakaya and rinse well with water. Wipe it with a dry cloth to completely dry and leave for few minutes.
💐. Now chop the citron into bite size pieces. Add required amount of salt and turmeric. Mix thoroughly and keep aside for three days.
💐. Now again mix well. Citron pickle is ready for tempering. While serving use a clean and dry spoon for longer shelf life.
