Corn pearls
Corn pearls – A super simple yet delicious recipe which can be served as an evening snack for school going kids. Corn cob is fire roasted and seasoned with salt, lemon juice, red chilli powder and dry oregano. Here I present quick corn pearls recipe to relish as an evening snack. Ingredients:
Corn cob: 1 no.
Salt: As required
Red chilli powder: 1/8 th tsp
Oregano: Half tsp
Lime juice: 1 tsp
Pepper powder: 1/4 th tsp
Method of preparation:
- Take one corn cob, remove the green layers and silky threads. Roast the corn cob on fire till it’s completely done.
- Put the salt, oregano, lemon juice, black pepper powder and red chilli powder in a bowl. Mix well and apply onto the fire roasted corn cob.
- Scrape the corn kernels using knife and transfer them into a bowl. Now the delicious and perfect evening snack corn pearls are ready to relish.
