Makhmal poori
Makhmal poori is a special delicacy which can be prepared during festivals or special occasions. It has a sulky texture and just melts in mouth, hence the name. Makhmal poori can be prepared either with wheat flour or maida flour. I’ve used wheat flour. Sugar syrup is prepared adding flavours. Pooris are made and deep fried in oil. Prepared porous are immersed in sugar syrup. Here I present delectable makhmal poori to celebrate any occasion. Njoy Cooking, Serving n Savoring!

Ingredients:
Wheat flour: One cup
Ghee: 1 tsp
Oil: For deep frying
Sugar: 3/4 th cup
Cardamom pods: 3/4 nos.
Saffron strands: 5/6 nos.
Dry fruits and copra powder: For garnishing
Method of preparation:
🌾. Take one cup of wheat flour and add required amount of water to make dough. Make them into rotis and cut them into required size and shape. I’ve made into semi circle shape.
🌾. Meanwhile prepare sugar syrup in a vessel adding sugar , required amount of water, cardamom pods and saffron strands.
🌾. Deep fry the pooris in hot oil and transfer them onto a plate containing paper towel to absorb excess oil.
🌾. Transfer the fried pooris into sugar syrup and immerse them in hot sugar syrup for 15 minutes.
🌾. After soaking, transfer them onto a serving plate and garnish with choice of dry fruits and copra powder.
