Paneer methi chaman

Paneer chaman , a delicious dish which goes well with any roti. The subtle flavour and creamy texture absolutely loved it. I’ve used cashews paste for the gravy. I’ve tasted this curry in a hotel and absolutely loved it. I’ve prepared this according to my family preference. Here I present temptingly delicious paneer methi chaman to serve with lacha paratha. Ingredients:

Paneer: 200 gms

Kasuri methi/Dried fenugreek leaves: 2 tsp

Cream: 2 tsp

Cashews: 1 1/2 tbsp

Onion: 1 no.

Green chillies: 2/3 nos.

Oil: 1 tbsp

Method of preparation:

🌷. Take 200 gms. Of paneer and cut them into triangular slices(Choice of your shape). Keep aside.

🌷. Heat kadai/pan , pour oil. Add chopped onion pieces and  sauté till they turn into translucent. 

🌷. Meanwhile soak cashews for 15 minutes and grind them into a paste adding required amount of water.

🌷. Now add this paste to the sautéed onion pieces. Also add chopped green chillies and kasuri methi. 

🌷. Mix thoroughly and bring it boil. Now add paneer cubes and required amount of salt. Boil furthermore for two minutes and switch off the flame. Add cream and mix well. 

🌷. Now delicious paneer methi chaman is ready to serve along with lacha Paratha and other accompaniments.
