Chutney podi paper avalaki !!

If the chutney powders are readily available, you can just assemble this dish in a jiffy. We have to use thin /paper rice flakes. Here I present authentic Karnataka dish chutney podi paper avalaki which is prepared during fasting days. Njoy Cooking, Serving n Savoring!

Ingredients:

Paper avalaki/Poha/rice flakes: One cup

Roasted gram chutney powder: 1 tsp 

Peanut chutney powder: 1 tsp

Grated fresh coconut: 2 tbsp

Method of preparation:

💛.  Take one cup of thin rice flakes in a vessel. Drizzle two chutney powders (Roasted gram chutney powder and peanut chutney powder). Mix thoroughly with hand. Just before serving add two tbsp of grated fresh coconut. Mix well and serve immediately. It just melts in mouth. 

💛. Roasted gram chutney powder:

Take 2 tbsp of roasted gram, required amount of salt, two red chillies and 1 tsp copra powder or small piece of dry coconut. Grind them in a mixer grinder and transfer into a bowl.

💛. Peanut chutney powder:

Take two tbsp of peanuts. Dry roast them in a kadai. Add two red chillies, little dry copra powder and required amount of salt. Grind to a fine powder in a mixer grinder and transfer into a bowl. Now add required quantities of both chutney powder or either of it to prepare this dish .

 This is a fasting recipe for Kannadigas during Ekadasi.
