Sakkarai pongal made with multi millet flakes is very healthy and can be prepared in a jiffy during festivals along with other delicacies. Millet flakes are cooked in enough water and jaggery powder is added and cooked furthermore for few minutes. Sakkarai pongal is topped with choice of ghee roasted dry fruits. I’ve prepared this pongal for Sankranthi/harvest festival. Here I present just melt in mouth multi millet flakes sakkarai pongal to relish during festive season. Njoy Cooking, Serving n Savoring!

Ingredients:

Multi millet flakes: 3/4 th cup

Organic jaggery powder: 3 tbsp

Cardamom pods: 3 nos.

Ghee: 2 tsp

Dry fruits: Few(Cashews, black raisins , raisins n Almonds).

Method of Preparation:

🥀. Take multi millet flakes in a vessel and add enough water. Cook them just for two minutes.

🥀. Now add organic jaggery powder and cardamom powder. Mix thoroughly and cook furthermore for few minutes.

🥀. Roast dry fruits in a small Kadai adding ghee. Transfer the multi millet flakes sakkarai pongal into a serving bowl and top with roasted dry fruits. Delicious 😋!
