Boiled Peanuts

Revising childhood memories!!One of the best and healthiest snacks Which can be prepared so easily. This is popular street food in South India. Here I present tasty and healthy snacks boiled peanuts to enjoy anytime. Njoy Cooking, Serving n Savoring!

Ingredients:

Peanuts: 250 gms.

Salt: As required

Method of preparation:

 🥜. Rinse thoroughly 250 gms. Of groundnuts/peanuts(Got them from farmers market) under running water. 

🥜. Steam them in a pressure cooker for four whistles adding required amount of salt. 

🥜. Once the pressure settles down transfer the steamed peanuts in a colander to drain excess water. Allow them to cool down to normal/warm temperature. Enjoy with your family as a tea/coffee time snack.

🥜. Also I’ve prepared peanut salad with leftover peanuts. For salad add one finely chopped onion, pinch of salt, one finely chopped green chilli, half tsp lemon juice and one fourth tsp red chilli powder. Mix well and serve immediately. Absolutely kids friendly!! .
