Qubani ka meeta 

My favourite Hyderabad delicacy and a must recipe in any Hyderabad weddings. The recipe is prepared with dried apricots.  The preparation is so simple with minimum ingredients. Here I present delectable dessert qubani ka meeta to relish during special occasions. Njoy Cooking, Serving n Savoring!

Ingredients:

Qubani/ dried apricots: 15-20 nos.

Sugar: 1/2 tbsp

Organic Jaggery: 1 tbsp

Fresh cream: 2 tsp

Method of preparation:

🌺. Soak dried apricots in two cups of water overnight. Next day morning, take the soaked apricots out saving the soaked water. This water is used to cook the apricots.

🌺. Inside the apricots hard shell with almonds like seed will be there. Carefully break the hard shell in a mortar pestle to separate the seed. This is used as a garnish.

🌺. Now cook the soaked apricots in remaining water for 12-15 minutes. Once it is cooked completely add sugar and jaggery powder. Cook furthermore for two minutes till the right consistency is achieved. 

🌺. Transfer the QUBANI ka MEETA  into a Serving bowl and garnish with fresh cream n apricot seeds.

🌺. sugar can be completely replaced by jaggery powder for a healthier version 😍!
